Are you out of network (OON)?
If I don't accept your insurance, please don't hesitate to contact the office for options.
Self Pay
We accept cash, checks, HSA, and major credit cards.
OON Reimbursement
Instead of billing through your insurance, payment will be due at the time of service. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider regarding coverage for out of network therapy. A superbill will be uploaded into your client portal at the end of every month so you can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.
What's a superbill?
It is an itemized document for your insurance company that details the services and costs of your therapy.
How do I get reimbursed for my sessions?
Call your insurance company before scheduling your first session and ask about your "out of network therapy benefits," and if covered, how to submit an out of network superbill reimbursement claim.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. This includes related costs like testing and consultations.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service. You can also ask your provider, and any provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
